Sure, you can use Facebook to check in with your friends, but did you know that you can also advertise on there? Absolutely! They have a pay per click system. Here is the beauty of it… the targeting power of Facebook is like none other. You can target people by all of that information they enter about themselves. Location, interests, hobbies, books they read, music they listen to, age, gender, you name it! If you know who your market is and who you are selling to, you can likely find them on Facebook.
Now, I found Facebook is a bit tricky to get started on. You have to hit a certain threshold of monetary value in your ads before they start pushing them out. You can adjust the amount you want to spend as you go along and the more clicks your ads get, the less you will pay for them.
Here is a free tip… Put your phone number or contact info right in your ad. There is lots of room there and you will get people responding to your ad without even clicking on it (and costing you money).
